Why the split
Real xStocks and real liquidity only exist on mainnet, so every read and every generated transaction points there. Payments settle on testnet so anyone can try the service with faucet funds. Mainnet payments (USD₮0 0x779d…3736) are configured and switched off.
How to tell
Every paid response includes data.network: "eip155:196"; every receipt names eip155:1952. The catalog lists both, plus which facilitator settles payments.
